Today we’d like to introduce the Itero Digital Scanner.
The ITero scanning wand lets us take hundreds of 3D impressions/photos
of our patients’ teeth in minutes. These photos are then displayed on a
computer, providing 3D imaging of the mouth from any angle.
The iTero scanner helps provide a clear 3D image and results in an
accurately fitted appliance, for better results more comfortably.
This state of the art machine allows us to permanently retire that
uncomfortable, gooey, impressions material typically used to get
a full picture of your, or your child’s teeth.
Another positive aspect of using the iTero scanner is that it’s directly
linked with the Invisalign system, which allows Dr. Arleen Azar-Mehr to
use clear aligners to straighten teeth. Once the patient is scanned,
their images are sent directly to Invisalign. The final result?
Shorter appointments, faster treatment timeframes, and the ability
to see the end result ahead of time. Pretty cool, right?
